I’m currently a stay at home mom. I’ve always loved being crafty, but only with useful things. I have a hard time committing to a craft that is strictly decorative. I’ve tried, trust me. Wreaths just aren’t my thing.
At the request of my cousin, I turned my love of crafting and trying out every tutorial I can find into a blog of my sometimes sad and pathetic attempts. Do I mind that I fail? Naw, it’s all part of learning and I enjoy the process anyway.
Now on to what this blog is. This is not a craft blog where I come up with epic tutorials. Instead, I’m linking you to other blogs that do much better tutorials than I ever could. I take no credit for coming up with the various tutorials, giving all credit to the place I found it. At best, I’m hooking people up with my favorite tutorials. If I make a tutorial, you will know. Measurements will be sadly inexact or non-existent. That’s just how I roll. And then I’ll link you to much better ones. So be sure to check out the links for better information than I provide! Yes, including actual measurements.
This is also a place for me to showcase both my crafting successes and failures. Everything from quilting to cooking to soap making to body products. And anything else that catches my fancy. I won’t be afraid to show off my failures, but I will try to only link to tutorials that I was able to have relative success with, though you might occasionally see a link to one I failed at through my own inability to follow directions!
Enjoy and do try out some of the projects I find. The journey is worth it, I promise.
